What we're looking for

We are looking for a motivated Frontend Engineer to join our team for a contract role to build out an intuitive, functional, fast, and delightful user experience for research studies. You will be responsible for designing new features and developing, testing, and maintaining our web experiences.

Our product enables research participants to sign up for studies and allows customers to set up research studies. We are looking for a Frontend Engineer who is technically strong and also cares about our product and how we can solve problems for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of product designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to the backend.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, React, Python, Typescript & Google Cloud Services.
• Building & defining API specifications.
• A good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications will adhere to them.
• Demonstrated frontend engineering experience from previous internships, work experience, coding competitions, or publications.
• Ability to read and understand API documentation/specs.
• Experience consuming REST/Graph APIs.
• A good understanding of how to implement responsive interfaces, cross-browser compatibility issues, and ways to work around them.
• Demonstrated cloud deployment capabilities.
